My Project The Unfolding Year intends to guide people through a year of photographing their daily lives. Not just 365 images, but sets of stories that illustrate their year. A we will be taking these images on our phones.

Using the recipe Places, People, Objects and Motion we will look at each element in detail and understand its place in storytelling. We will see that as long as you have at least one of all four you can tell a visual story.

Along the way we will build on photography skills and knowledge learning everything from core theory concepts like depth of field to editing, composition and technical understanding of light.
